Adventure, Family Friendly, For Kids, Seasonal, Things to Do

Sure, you could make the argument for other states during the summer. California has the Pacific, Florida has the white sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico… but when it comes to fall, Ohio has everyone else beat.

When the leaves begin to change and the fall sunsets hit, Ohio is the place to be.

And with the fall comes fun on the farms of Central Ohio, where you’ll find everything from U-Pick apples to pumpkin bowling.

So if you’re struggling with finding the right farm for you and your family, consider this the list written just for you and you alone.

And if you want to discover more fall fun, check out our free daily newsletter here.

Leeds Farm

CherryHawk Farm Apple Orchard

16220 Springdale Rd, Marysville, OH 43040

Unfortunately, CherryHawk Farm had the shortest apple-picking season ever, lasting just two days in 2026. With no other attractions or activities, CherryHawk Farm is closed for the rest of the 2026 season. You can blame the spring freezes for this unfortunate reality. Here’s to hoping for a bountiful harvest in 2027!
