Let us guess, the obligatory vegetarian or vegan option at the last restaurant you went to left you wanting. It’s inevitable: restaurants try to accommodate other lifestyles but sometimes fall short.

Portia’s Cafe has stepped in to transform other restaurants’ “good enough” vegetarian and vegan options into something actually fantastic. With an all-day breakfast menu and a massive lunch and dinner menu, this restaurant creates a safe space for all us vegetarians, vegans, and health-conscious diners.

There are dips, and wraps, and pizzadillas, and quesadillas, and soups, and salads, and bowls on bowls on bowls. Burrito bowls and beet salad bowls and even pad Thai! You can’t say it’s too hard to eat plant-based anymore, not when Portia’s Cafe exists.

If you’ve recently cut out meat and seafood and find yourself hankering for all that again, Portia’s Cafe offers delicious alternatives. It’s not like we’re suggesting you replace sausage with celery. We’re saying replace sausage with sawsage.

The breakfast patty sawsage wrap features a sausage substitute that’s so yummy you won’t miss the original in the slightest. We know it’s a rarity for a remake to be better than the original, but this just might be that.

The notuna wrap similarly improves upon the tuna we know and introduces us to a whole ‘nother world. Topped with raw pickle, tomato, onion, stoneground mustard, and house mayo, the notuna wrap makes it easier than ever to eat fish-free. We’d say there’s nothing fishy about it, but that’s the magical part! It’s fishy!

When you sit outside at Portia’s Cafe (summer patio alert!), you can see the garden and greenhouse where some of the ingredients grow. Make sure you say a quick “thank you” to the basil when you’re out there! It’s the star of the show for the tomato basil cucumber salad and the upcoming pesto quesadilla.

You can’t be a cafe without a wide array of fun beverages. So whether you want a purple haze smoothie, a strawberry shake, or a lemonade, you’re covered. The summer lemonade special is a literal rainbow of possibilities: beet (red), clarity palmer (yellow), chlorophyll (green), blue spirulina (blue), and strawberry (pink). (Don’t worry about orange or purple — they’re on vacation.)

To wrap up the whole heavenly dining experience, you’ll want to indulge in some pie. Blueberry, apple, mixed berry, peach, and pecan are regular options, but you may get lucky and encounter a seasonal strawberry rhubarb. “Yum” doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Even healthy food deserves to be delicious, and Portia’s Cafe makes it possible.

Feast on the good stuff at Portia’s Cafe!
