Nelsonville Halloween Train

Hop on to this trunk-or-treat train ride with Hocking Valley Scenic Railway! This is an event for the evening making the night sky the perfect backdrop to this spooky ride down the railway. The train ride takes a total of about two hours to complete. You’ll be traveling on an old-fashioned train through Hocking River Valley. Come dressed in your best halloween costumes and suits for a festive and spooky time. By the way, yummy treats will be available for both kids and adults to enjoy!

Take a ride on the Halloween Express with Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, Inc. to see some spooky (and kid-friendly) sights! The Halloween Express train will depart on select Friday and Saturday nights! It involves the viewing of ever-so-festive Halloween decorations after the sun goes down!

Additionally there is also a trick-or-treat train on October 21st and 28th which allows you and your kids to come fully decked out in all of your Halloween gear and costumes! Take in all the Halloween decorations while you ride the tracks.
