ABOUT THE JOB
From content creator to marketing mastermind, we’re looking for a driven self-starter who can build and retain an audience of engaged followers on various digital platforms. The right person for the job is intensely passionate about marketing and storytelling, has an eye for design, and is curious, proactive and resourceful. This position requires a strong desire to bring ideas to the table as well as execute them.
As a Content Creator / Marketer you will create content for a multitude of digital platforms in addition to marketing the brand. You will research topics online and first hand, stay on top of trends, and build an online community of people looking for the best things to do, see and experience as well as eat and drink in Columbus.
REQUIREMENTS
- Natural talent for content creation including written and on-trend social media content (specifically including but not limited to short-form video ie TikTok & Instagram Reels)
- Professional content creation experience preferred
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced writing and editing skills.
- Exceptional creative marketing skills.
- Proficient research skills.
- People person with networking and relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyze results to determine key findings.
- Must be highly detailed and pay special attention to delivering error-free work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ideation, creation, editing and publishing of content – including but not limited to writing and social media video, posts, and stories.
- Research and content sourcing online and in-person.
- Digital content strategy development and execution and distribution.
- Marketing strategy development and execution.
- Copywriting.
- Graphic Design as it pertains to marketing and content creation.
- Analyze content and data to strategize ways to grow and bring value to our audience and clients.
- Email Newsletter creation and coordination.
- Listing management.
- Design and maintain efficient systems and workflows.
- Build relationships with business in the area.
COMPENSATION
- Total Compensation Range: $50,000 – $65,000
- Compensation is based on several non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and location. Total Compensation Range includes base salary, bonuses and benefits.
