Brunch, anyone?” If you’re anything like me, this question kicks off your Saturday and Sunday mornings. And if the answer isn’t “1000% yes,” we unfortunately can’t be friends.

Lucky for us, Central Ohio is packed with amazing brunch spots that have become staples in the local food scene.

With so many options, it can feel a bit overwhelming to choose where to go. That’s why we’ve rounded up the must-try brunch spots across Columbus and beyond. Whether you’re craving classic favorites or something new, these are the best brunch places you absolutely need to visit.

Did we miss one? Did one of these places close? Send us a note!

Hangover Easy

📍 1646 Neil Ave, Columbus, OH 43201 | Brunch Served 7 AM – 3 PM Weekdays, 8 AM – 3PM Weekends

This Ohio State staple’s motto is “breakfast cures all.” We completely agree. Whether you’re nursing a wicked hangover or just looking for an extensive menu to cure an empty, rumbling stomach, Hangover Easy has you covered. If a menage a trois isn’t enough to cure you (we’re talking about Hangover Easy’s french toast entree… get your mind out of the gutter), they also serve 5 different types of Mimosas, 4 different Bloody Mary’s, and a bunch more specialty cocktails, coffees, and beers at the ready.

Lindey’s

📍 169 E Beck St, Columbus, OH 43206 | Brunch Served 11 AM – 3 PM on Weekends

Need something a little more upscale and refined to scratch your brunch itch? Lindey’s in German Village has both the vibe and the food to satisfy your desires. With items ranging from Ahi Tuna Tartare and Crab & Egg to staples like Avocado Toast and Eggs Benedict, you’ll not only find something you like, you’ll find something you can’t live without.

Northstar Cafe

📍 Multiple locations | Brunch Served 11 AM – 3 PM on Weekends

If you enjoy starting your day with something fresh and revitalizing, Northstar is your, uhhh, well, north star. They hand select their ingredients from locally-owned sources to ensure that the food you’re waking up with is worth it. Plus, with multiple locations throughout Central Ohio, you don’t have to travel very far for a good brunch. This is especially helpful when you A.) are hungover, B.) have kids, C.) have family visiting, or D.) are hungover with kids while your in-laws are visiting.

I’ve made it a tradition to eat a Sunrise Burrito every Saturday morning while I hang with my niece and nephews, and it’s a tradition that I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of.

Fox in the Snow Cafe

📍 Multiple locations | Brunch Served 7 AM – 3 PM Weekdays, 8 AM – 3PM Weekends

Like Northstar, Fox in the Snow locations are seemingly everywhere in Central Ohio, now. Which is perfect because if you live even decently close to 270, you are basically a 10-minute drive from a Fox in the Snow. That means you’re a 10-minute drive from their famous Souffled Egg Sandwiches, Cinnamon Rolls, Blueberry Galettes, and delicious coffee. Lucky you!

Tommy’s Diner

📍 914 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43222 | Brunch served 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM 7 Days/Week

Talk about a Columbus staple! Tommy’s Diner has been slinging out delicious breakfast and lunch to the Franklinton community and beyond for over 30 years. Their menu can be described as a Greek-inspired take on classic American breakfast and lunch, while the vibe inside just has to be experienced in person. We’ll miss you, Tommy!

Katalina’s

📍 Three Locations | Brunch Served 8 AM – 3 PM 7 Days/Week

“Peace, Love, and Pancake Balls” is their slogan, and they’ve got a lot of that to offer (try over 1 MILLION Pancake Balls sold). But don’t think that their other menu options aren’t worthy of a cool slogan, either. I’m a sucker for all things breakfast foods, but when it comes to their breakfast tacos and their Mazatlan Slow-Roasted Pork & Egg Sandwich, it’s hard to find anything that compares.

DK Diner

📍 1715 W 3rd Ave, Grandview Heights, OH | 7 AM – 9 PM Saturdays, 7 AM – 3 PM Sundays, 6 AM – 3 PM Monday and Tuesday, 6 AM – 9 PM Weekdays

A tried-and-true Mom and Pop shop, this quaint little diner in Grandview checks all the boxes when it comes to the perfect brunch. Their large menu, world-famous donuts, and excellent service pair incredibly well with their low prices and delicious food. If you are craving traditional American breakfast and DK Diner isn’t at the top of your mind, then you have some serious reevaluating to do.

Bodega

📍 1044 N. High St, Columbus, OH 43201 | Brunch Served 10 AM – 3 PM on Weekends

Bodega is truly a unique spot on this list. You can drink here until 2:30 AM, go home, come back the next morning for brunch and, if you’re a believer in the “hair of the dog” trick, order some more drinks. This spot is the perfect hangover cure and, if you’re looking to walk around and do some shopping before or after brunch, you are right in the heart of the Short North! Even more reason to order the cinnamon roll… you’ll burn it right off!

Scotty’s Cafe

📍 2980 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43209 | Brunch Served 8 AM – 2 PM Weekdays

Scotty’s Cafe is like the cafe you see your favorite sitcom characters go to. The employees are friendly, the food is delicious, and no one ever leaves dissatisfied. This well-kept secret is a staple for East Columbus residents and for good reason, it’s everything you could want out of a brunch spot.

The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek

📍 1370 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230 | Brunch Served 10 AM – 2:30 PM Sundays

Ever had brunch inside of a barn? If you answered yes, there’s a good chance it was at The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek. With delicious brunch cocktails, omelets, a buffet, and even made-to-order pancakes, you won’t soon forget the ambience and flavors pumping out of this unique barn brunch.

Valter’s at the Maennerchor

📍 976 S High St, Columbus, OH 43206 | Brunch Served 9 AM – 3 PM Saturday and Sunday

If you’re in the mood for brunch with a side of history, Valter’s at the Maennerchor is your spot. The real star of the show? Their corned beef hash, which could easily win a “best in Columbus” award if that was a thing (maybe it should be). But don’t sleep on the Berlin Breakfast Sandwich… German bologna, egg, cheddar, and onions, all hugged by a warm baguette. And let’s not forget about the homemade mustard. Trust me, you’ll be trying to figure out how to smuggle a jar home without anyone noticing.

Goodale Station

📍 77 E Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215 | Brunch Served 11 AM – 3 PM Saturday & 10 AM – 3 PM Sunday

If you’re feeling fancy, Goodale Station’s brunch is here to elevate your weekend game. With skyline views and a rooftop patio, you’ll be brunching in style. Whether you’re going for the Stuffed French Toast Rolls or the Brunch Burger. it’s the perfect spot for sipping mimosas while you take in the city and feel like you’ve got your life mostly together. Inside or out, it’s brunch with a view and a whole lot of flavor.

RH Rooftop

📍 4120 Worth Ave, Columbus, OH 43219 | Weekend Brunch Begins 10 AM

We’ve gone classy before, and you can bet your bottom dollar we’ll do it again, especially if brunch at RH Rooftop is on the table. If you haven’t made it here yet, it’s the perfect spot for a brunch date (yes, we’re making brunch dates a thing). The New York Lox is the quintessential brunch on a plate, but don’t sleep on the Délice De Bourgogne Cheese with strawberry preserves and a warm baguette. Oh, and do yourself a favor: order the RH Peach Bellini.

The Pearl

📍 641 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215 and 88 N High St, Dublin, OH 43017 | Brunch Served Starting at 10 AM Saturday and Sunday

The Pearl is a Columbus staple, and if you haven’t had their Old Fashioned Deviled Eggs, you’re seriously missing out. We won’t spoil the surprise, but trust us — you’ll want to see how they’re served. And while the deviled eggs are a must, don’t sleep on the rest of the menu. The Jalapeño Corn Spoon Bread with local honey and the Tavern Citrus Salad? Both are worthy of their own fan clubs.

Worthington Tavern

📍 671 High St, Worthington, OH 43085 | Brunch Served 10 AM – 3 PM Saturday & Sunday

Worthington Tavern knows how to do brunch right, and if you’re not ordering their Chicken and Waffles, you’re missing out on one of the most epic plates in town. And let’s talk about their breakfast sandwich. This thing is massive. Only go for the full size if you’re seriously hungry or cool with leftovers. From their Hearth-baked Frittata to the Bananas Foster Waffle, every dish hits the spot, and pairing it with a mimosa or coffee just feels right. Worthington Tavern gets us, and we are here for it.

Kitchen Social

📍 Multiple Locations | Brunch Saturday & Sunday, 10 AM – 3 PM

If you’re one of the ten people left in Central Ohio who hasn’t tried Kitchen Social yet, what are you doing?! The vibes are immaculate, the service is top-tier, and the brunch? Ridiculously good. I’m talking Chicken N’ Waffles that’ll heal your soul and Homestyle Breakfast plates that’ll ruin all other breakfasts for you. But whatever you do, do not skip the Cinnabiscuits. Our server gave us the heads up and I still don’t think she knows how much she changed my life with that suggestion. Addictive. Fluffy. Cinnamon-y. Probably laced (with magic).

Skillet

📍 410 E Whittier St, Columbus, OH 43206 | Brunch Friday–Sunday, 8 AM – 1:30 PM

Skillet is one of those lowkey brunch spots that deserves a lot more noise. Nestled right next to German Village, it’s got serious neighborhood charm and a chef-driven menu loaded with local ingredients. Their Huevos Rancheros is a thing of beauty (we’re talking chorizo, jalapeño sofrito, local eggs, and ancho chile tomato salsa layered on tortilla chips). And their Chipotle + Ohio Maple hot sauce combo? Sweet, spicy, and life-changing. Add in a buttery Egg Sando and it’s honestly wild this place isn’t on more people’s radars (radar? Radars? Should it be singular or plural? Great, I wrote the word radar so much now it feels fake).

Joyas

📍 657 High St, Worthington, OH 43085 | Brunch Tuesday–Sunday, 8 AM – 2 PM

Old Worthington is cute enough already, but Joyas takes it over the top. Chef Avishar Barua and his team’s brunch menu is creative, comforting, and unlike anything else in town. If you only get one thing, make it the Egg Toast-in-a-Box. It’s a cheesy, spicy, porky shokupan dream that comes in the most delightful little to-go container. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth? Faye’s Donut is the move. Think almond-forward, crispy-on-the-outside, cloud-on-the-inside perfection. This place is not just good. It’s special.

The Mercury Diner

📍 621 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH 43206| Daily, 8 AM – 3 PM

The Mercury Diner is cosmic, chaotic, and criminally underrated. The pancakes are huge (like, Frisbee-sized), the home fries are golden and crispy, and the egg-and-cheese sandwich is comfort food in its final form. But the real sleeper hit? The Spaceballs. No, not the movie (god bless Mel Brooks), I’m talking about banana fritters covered in peanut butter hot fudge sauce. Yeah, you read that right. If you’re into retro-futuristic diner vibes and brunch that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this is your spot.

Tucci’s

📍 35 N High St, Dublin, OH 43017 | Brunch Weekends, 10 AM – 3 PM

Tucci’s is where you go when you want to brunch like a grown-up. It’s classy without being stuffy, and the menu is loaded with flavor-forward, brunchy goodness. Their Caprese Omelet is basically a pesto lover’s fantasy, and the Salmon Power Bowl will make you feel like you’ve got your life together. But the Buttermilk Waffle? That’s the showstopper. Fluffy, golden, and smothered in berry compote. Any spot with a great waffle always gets high marks from me. That’s just how it is. Deal with it.
