Buzzed Bull Creamery
50 S Liberty St, Powell, OH 43065
I don’t know if you could tell by the name, but Buzzed Bull Creamery is all about alcoholic ice cream. You can choose between their specialty ice cream/milkshakes like the Bonfire, complete with marshmallow syrup, Graham Crackers, chocolate chips, cinnamon, and cinnamon whiskey, or you can completely make up your own flavor! If you’re more interested in the ice cream and less interested in the booze, you can also order it alcohol free, a.k.a. “non-buzzed.”
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
Multiple Locations
The pride and joy of Columbus, Jeni’s is no stranger to trying out super unique flavors. Which is why it’s no surprise that they have boozy ice cream at the ready. Whether you are looking for something sweet or something more savory, the Frosé Sorbet and Middle West Whiskey & Pecans are sure to satisfy whatever you’re craving.
Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream
5665 Feder Rd, Columbus, OH 43228, 399 W Olentangy St, Powell, OH 43065
Home of my all-time favorite milkshake (large chocolate shake… no frills necessary), Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream will always hold a special place in my heart, and that was before I found out about their Bananas Foster flavor. Tell me homemade banana rum ice cream with a caramel ripple doesn’t sound like it could solve world peace and I’d tell you you’re probably right, but still, this flavor is delicious!
Graeter’s Ice Cream
You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t had (and loved) Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream. But because their Black Raspberry Chip is so popular, other incredible flavors get lost in the mix, such as their Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan (yum!) and their Eggnog Ice Cream (double yum, but it’s only available in December).
Flip Side Burgers & Shakes
945 Easton Station, Columbus, OH 43219
Aside from their delicious burgers and sandwiches, the milkshakes at Flip Side are out of this world. While all of their milkshakes can come without alcohol, the alcoholic milkshakes sound absolutely incredible, including the Brownie Shake which comes with vanilla ice cream, brownie chunks, toasted walnuts, and Kahlua. Yes, please!
Sugar Rush Columbus
8114 East Broad St, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068
Sugar Rush Columbus allows you to add a shot to any of your milkshakes, so you can spice up your cheat meal with a little bit of booze if you’d like. Just be warned, the sugar high you get combined with the alcohol will have you feelin’ real good and you might be tempted to get another one, so make sure you have a designated driver on hand!
