The Sewing Hive is a learning studio, located in Columbus, Ohio, with professional instructors who teach sewing classes at all levels for adults and youth. You can learn to machine or hand sew and grow your skills with our in-person small classes.
Since 2019 our focus is on garment construction, fit and sourcing materials to be able to create your personal style in fashion. The instructors work with students in private and group classes using their own comprehensive, step by step curriculum of essential and fashion forward techniques.
Our mission is to teach and help you grow to sew independently with engaging single and weekly classes, camps, free educational seminars, charity events for those in need, and social sewing meetups open to the public.
