Bring your lunch and something to drink as we settle in for a day of engaging presentations. Metro Parks own Resource Management team will kick off the day as they share species and habitat management project updates. We’ll also be joined by Donald Althoff, a Certified Wildlife Biologist and Professor Emeritus of Wildlife Conservation at the University of Rio Grande. He will delight us with tales of his southern flying squirrel research. Associate Professor Emeritus, Robert Klips, at Ohio State’s Department of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology will share the mysteries of mosses and lichens. We will end our day with live wild animals from the Ohio Wildlife Center! Admission is free!!
