This is a seasonal Indian hands-on cooking class making a variety of easy appetizers for your next get-together. You’ll learn to make Tandoori pepper chicken sliders with a hint of spicy heat. Then, you’ll learn to make chana masala, a protein-packed curry made of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), onions, tomatoes, and toasted spices served with a special kind of bread called Bhaturas.
Lastly, vegetable pakoras, which are chickpea batter-dipped fritters stuffed with seasonal vegetables and warm Indian spices. At the end of class, you’ll get to enjoy these appetizers with cilantro sauce for dipping with a glass of wine. This class is ideal for anyone wanting to add craveable, authentic Indian flavors to their holiday snack table or for those who want to learn how to cook Indian food at home but don’t know where to start.
