Matt, David, and Jordan Godfrey are a team of three virtuosos who have been performing together for 15 years covering a variety of genres ranging from rock, blues, and jazz. The Godfrey brothers first gained national attention in 2009 by sneaking out of a homeless shelter to win the fabled Amateur Night contest at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem, NYC. Growing up, playing music was a means of survival. Now, they have established themselves with a DIY-approach over the years playing at festivals like Great South Bay, Blue Point Brewery Shakedown, Doug Wimbish’s (Living Colour) Wimbash, supported Miles Kennedy/Slash with the Conspirators, and Alter Bridge’s 2023 North American Tour, as well as backed Tash Neal (London Souls) and well-known reggae artist Yellowman. Matt Godfrey (keys/bass) currently plays keyboards in Taz Niederaur’s ensemble. Armed with the final chapter of Mr. NoOne Pt 2, MJT is ready to continue sharing their epic story.
