Spring is the time to think about butterflies! In this hands on workshop, you will recreate the iconic Blue Morpho butterfly out of stainedd glass in this beginner-friendly workshop. Throughout class, Kara of Good Dea Glass Co will guide you step by step as you cut, grind, and solder sheet glass using the copper foil method. You’ll leave with a finished piece to display, along with the skills to keep exploring stained glass. After class, be sure to visit our Blooms & Butterflies exhibition!
All tools and materials are provided, you will just need to wear closed toed shoes and long pants. This class is suggested for students aged 12+, designed with adults in mind.
