David Leytze has shared the stage and studio with jazz artists Slide Hampton, Al Vizutti, Jeff Tyzik, Bobby Shew, Wynton Marsalis, Gary Foster, Mike Price and Al Kaplan to name a few. His quintet, the Leytze Jazz Five, brings to Ginger Rabbit an eclectic mix of seldom-heard hard-bop and Latin jazz standards and fresh contemporary jazz originals. Their sound is at once subtle and sensitive then burning and taut; always energetic and engaging with a diverse display of solo and ensemble prowess.
