This is an open studio class for students who are advanced in hand building. Instruction will be available but limited as there will also be a wheel throwing class going on at the same time. Pieces will be fired and glazed. Participants are encouraged to provide their own apron, and towel for clean up.
Participants will purchase their own clay at the front desk. Glazes are provided. Classes are for practicing techniques and working on projects, production work is not permitted, due to the popularity of classes, limited storage and kiln space.
Clay can be purchased from the FRC front desk on the first day of class. Prices vary based on type of clay. Sold in 12.5# increments only. Basic hand tools are provided.
Only clay provided by or sold at the FRC desk is permitted.
There will be no class March 25.
