Honor Your Pet’s Memory and Create a Tribute at the Rainbow Bridge 🌈
The Park is hosting a complimentary tag-making session led by local artist Kris Kolb for anyone who would like to create a remembrance tag for the Rainbow Bridge.
Participants can personalize a tag with their pet’s name, message, or small symbol of love. Once finished, tags can be placed on the Rainbow Bridge as a lasting tribute to the animals who filled our lives with loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.
This quiet, creative moment offers a way to reflect, remember, and celebrate the special bond we share with our pets.
We ask for RSVPs to help us plan.
Thank you to our Rainbow Bridge sponsors – Delaware Northwest Veterinary Clinic, Delaware Animal Clinic, The Pet Bowl, Animal Care Center of Polaris, and Oakside Animal Clinic ❤️

What’s the Rainbow Bridge? According to the poems and stories, it’s the meadow where our pets go to wait on us when they die. There’s a beautiful meadow where they can run and play, their health restored, and wait on their humans. When they are reunited, humans and pets cross over the Rainbow Bridge together to Paradise. And let’s face it; it wouldn’t be Paradise without our beloved pets.
About the Artist: Being born in the Glass Capital of the World (Toledo, Ohio) may have had something to do with Kris Hyland Kolb’s love of glass. She has made art with blown glass, leaded glass, slumped glass, and etched glass and has been collecting beach glass for most of her life. After retiring from 35 years of teaching art for the Marion City Schools, where she taught jewelry, photography, and graphic design at Marion Harding High School, she signed up for a jewelry course at Ohio Wesleyan University with professor Cynthia Cetlin. It was here where she was encouraged to start creating something with her sea glass collection. Now, several years later, she sells her jewelry from New England to Key West, from the US Virgin Islands to Canada, from the Midwest to the West Coast. Sea glass is nature’s way of recycling our trash into beautifully colored and textured gems, so she thinks of herself as a recycling artist.
