Ever wish your favorite NPR segment or Ted Talk came with trivia, drinks, and real conversation? Welcome to The Siposium, a live, interactive gathering where we deep dive into surprisingly niche topics with expert guests, thoughtful dialogue, and just enough irreverence to keep it fun. Think NPR-style curiosity, casual community vibes, and real-time interaction. With drinks.

This month, Reptiles are one of the most misunderstood animals. Many people have fears that are really just a result of lack of proper info. Reptiles are extremely fascinating to everyone, whether they are scared or not. There are many facts about reptiles that will shock people into an appreciation for them, more than they ever thought they would! Be prepared, some reptiles will be in attendance!

Speaker Bio: Reptile Adventures is a dream of Paul and Joanna Hernandez’s passion for animals and specifically reptiles. They both have a deep desire to see others experience the awe and wonder of these amazing creatures. With their extensive combined background and experience with animals and people, they bring an absolutely amazing show creating the most incredible memories for you and your family. Animal Welfare Manager Joanna (Paul’s lovely wife) was born and raised in Pickaway County and specialized in Zoo Keeping for many years. She has a degree in natural science and historical interpretation. Paul has been a reptile enthusiast since childhood and has worked diligently to educate the public about the importance of reptiles in our ecosystem. They both share a commitment and dedication to serving their local community and that of the surrounding area. They love bringing their reptiles to community events such as seasonal festivals, Scout picnics, and 4-H club meetings.  They love doing birthday parties, expos, schools, libraries, churches and have even been invited to weddings!

This event is sponsored by Reptile Adventures. Check out all they do here: https://reptile-adventures.com/
