However, if you’re like the rest of us, this probably sounds like a wild and somewhat questionable activity. To break it down for you, you basically hurl an axe at a wooden target and it’s sorta awesome. So yeah, Coliseum X everybody – map it.

3.) Vertical Adventures

Moving horizontally is just like.. soooo basic. Moving vertically is cool. Even cooler though.. climbing vertically. Try out a little rock-climbing session at Vertical Adventures. Trust us, you won’t get bored. There’s over 16,000 square feet of climbing walls and bouldering; it’s an all day adventure.

Can you solve this riddle? It goes as follows; “you don’t have to pedal and there are two wheels.” If you guessed, “motorcycle,” we can definitely understand why – our riddle was terribly vague. The correct answer would’ve been, “a segway.” On this segway tour, you’ll get to learn numerous fun facts about the city with a humorous tour guide leading the way.

Get stuck in a pyramid, a mystery house, a runaway train, the wild west, and much more in Breakout Games’ 15 different escape rooms. Try to escape before the clock strikes and your time is up… Our hearts are pumping just thinking about it.

7.) Windrose Outdoor Columbus

If thrill-seeking isn’t totally up your alley and you just want to try something exciting and new, rent a kayak or paddle board and test the waters with a lil baby adventure. Your experience at Windrose Outdoor will let you paddle about one mile on the Scioto River from Bicentennial Park to North Bank for a killer view of the city skyline.

8.) Buckeye Raceway

Hop in the car and skrt over to Buckeye Raceway for a rip-roaring go-kart ride. You’ll travel at obnoxiously high speeds and make invigorating sharp turns. How’s that for a little adventure, huh?

Oh you know, just come fly a plane or whatever at Take Flight Ohio. Well, kind of. You’ll get to experience an exhilarating self-piloted flight simulation with another pilot assisting you. Ever wondered what it takes to safely take off or maneuver through strenuous weather? Come find out how it all works at Take Flight Ohio. Don’t freak out too much though, you never actually leave the ground.

11. Go River Floating with Pea Ohana

This is definitely a top-of-the-lister for us (even though technically it is at the bottom here), and we think you’ll agree. Hop into a tube, zip up your life vests, and float down Licking River with Pea Ohana. Be prepared to pass through some rapids and float under the Y-Bridge in Downtown Zanesville. Have a pint at the craft brewery above the boathouse, and check this off your list.
