Welcome to Branstool Orchards
Located just 45 minutes northeast of Columbus, Branstool Orchards is set in the scenic countryside of Utica, Ohio. We are a seasonal business, open to the public when the peaches ripen (generally mid-July) and closed after all of the apples are gone (generally early November).
Marshall Branstool, the son of a grain farmer, began growing peaches on rented land in 1983. Ten years later he bought the land where the orchard currently sits and started growing apples to go along with his wonderful peaches. Now, 40 years later, the orchard and the business continue to grow, but Marshall’s commitment to growing high-quality fruit has remained the same.
We are best known for our sweet and juicy peaches, but our crisp apples and savory pears are increasingly popular year after year. Our picturesque orchard sprawls across 75 acres of rolling hills.
We grow more than 20 varieties of peaches, 40 different apple varieties and Bartlett pears. We wait to pick our peaches, apples, and pears until they are ripe, ensuring that our customers get the best fruit possible. We offer U-Pick peaches, apples, flowers, and flowers here in Utica as well as having an open-air market with fresh, local produce and pantry staples from nearby vendors and farmers.
