Welcome to House Wine

Welcome to House Wine, where we make wine buying fun, simple, and interactive. We focus on education and exploration in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.  Let our wine geeks help you find your own House Wine.  We fill our shelves with high quality wines for every budget.  Stop in and get better wine at a better price than the big box stores.  Stay for a glass and unwined a little before you go home.

We are a destination for all of your wine needs. We stock hundreds of different labels picked by our team. Our inventory is separated by varietal or food for matching and each wine falls into a class. With our classification system, distinguishing wines by color and character, you can easily narrow down your wine preference. We have created a straight-forward system that makes the buying and sharing experience an enjoyable one. You will find your next wine purchase by looking at our entire inventory or at our themed displays throughout the space. Going organic? Grilling some beef? 3rd date? We make it almost too easy. If we don’t have the wine you want, we’ll get it for you with no minimum order.

Finding Your Wine

Another advantage of buying wine at House Wine is that we use simple icons to help you learn what general food goes with each type of wine. If you know what’s for dinner, we can help you pick out a wine that will complement it. If you know what type of taste you like (a crisp white or robust red?), you’ll find wine in a matter of seconds. We understand that consumers purchase wine in various ways, and our customer-friendly environment puts all at ease. A House Wine team member will also be able to assist you with finding your next favorite wine or answer any questions without the fuss.

Our comfortable and casual environment will allow you to open a bottle to enjoy on premise for a minimal $5 corkage fee. We offer a small snacks menu and you can order carryout from any of the neighboring restaurants. You can also try 16-24 different wines by the ounce or glass with our wine dispensing machines, a unique approaching to trying various wines and learning more about them. We have a selection of craft beers on tap and more by the bottle or can.

Our Commitment to the Community

Our concept has become a destination for wine newbies and traveled veterans, bringing even more back to our community, but we also strive to give back as well. House Wine strives to conserve and protect our environment. The tables and bar area of House Wine in Worthington came from the restored Birdsong Home in Old Worthington, built in 1841. In addition, we host fundraisers and do our part to get involved with community events to give back to our customers.

Our wine concept satisfies the seasoned wine consumer but also entices those interested in exploring and learning more about wines. We look forward to seeing you at House Wine.
