HOW IT ALL BEGAN…
Tatjana grew up with her Serbian parents making all kinds of wines on the east side of Cleveland, so wine has long been a passion for her.
In 2008, Tatjana Brown and her husband, Jason, decided to go for it and open Meza Wine Shop. They were the first wine shop in Uptown Westerville, and one of the first shops to get a liquor license in historically dry Westerville. Being fluent in Serbian, Tatjana used her family’s native language to land on a name for the shop. Food and wine are central components to Serbian culture. “Meza” actually means “pre-meal,” like cheeses and small bites to eat and seemed like the perfect name for their adventure.

Since our beginning in 2008, we have taken Meza through several evolutions, and are most proud of where Meza has landed today!
We are passionate about curating a selection of wine that allows for exploration. Creating a gorgeous charcuterie box for you to share with friends. Delivering wine to your door so that you can spend less time running around and more time connecting with friends, enjoying the outdoors. Finding wine to share that you love and that connects you to other cultures. These things bring us joy.
