Must be an independent worker with an understanding of all phases of clay and suggest students who have taken prior sessions at Marion Franklin and are familiar with the studio layout. Class allows students to engage themselves with stoneware clay using their choice of techniques, including hand building, wheel throwing, or sculpting. Students may be asked to participate in various elements of studio work as it relates to clay, recycling, mixing glazes, kiln shelf cleaning/prep, and loading or unloading kilns. Must have prior experience. $10.00 lab fee and material fees apply to clay. Fees will be collected at first class. Must have Leisure Card. Can obtain Leisure at the Front Desk. Must have prior experience.
