Carolyn Wonderland is thrilled to share her newest collection of songs, TRUTH IS, with you! This is her second album produced by roots rock legend Dave Alvin and released on Alligator Records. Building on the success of her 2021 release, TEMPTING FATE, TRUTH IS showcases her signature Texas blues roots, soulful vocals, and fearless songwriting. With searing guitar work and a deep emotional range, this album continues her tradition of pushing boundaries and has garnered great reviews and airplay, captivating audiences worldwide.
Following years of recording and touring the world with the legendary John Mayall, and tearing up the road with her own band, Carolyn has earned multiple Blues Music Award nominations and widespread critical acclaim. Whether on stage or in the studio, her dynamic performances and deeply personal songs continue to make her one of the most powerful voices in roots and blues today.

They call France and the USA home and are multi-linguists in music and “Franglish.” In 2017, they released their album “Soul Burnin’” on Lil’ Red Records—their independent label—produced by and featuring Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee Dave Specter, recorded in Chicago by Grammy-winning engineer Blaise Barton at JoyRide Studio. In 2019, they were finalists as a duo in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and appeared on PBS’s Songs at the Center.
In 2022, they released “Keep On!” in partnership with Blue Heart Records—also recorded at JoyRide—this time with Kenny “Beedyeyes” Smith and Felton Crews, and featuring Billy Branch on their hit song “Keep On Loving You.” The album was a hit internationally: it reached #2 on Le Collectif des Radios Blues (“Power Blues”) and #7 on the Roots Music Report Blues chart, and “Keep On Loving You” appeared for two weeks on SiriusXM Bluesville’s Rack O’ Blues.
