Create a Textile Art piece with a fabric background layered with fabrics, mixed media and embellishments. Sewing on a machine is not required but can be used if you already know the basics. Hand-sewing and glues will also be used.
Beginners must be present the first day of class
Intermediates can have SELF-DIRECTED Open Studio time to work on their own projects with help as needed. All are welcome to use the machines, tools, supplies and access our large donation supply of fabrics and embellishments free to use for class projects or bring your own.
Learn basics of textile art, design basics, and complete at least one 2D textile art project.
