IceBREAKERS – a special engagement fundraiser Saturday, Feb 21 – 1230 doors, 1pm show
During these times, making comedy shows can feel a bit daunting – but at The Nest, we believe we also have to protect pockets of joy to make sure we keep remembering what in the world is worth fighting for.
IceBreakers is a special event matinee done in conjunction with Nest performers and Three Bite Bakery’s Mutual Aid Initiative, making sure families in need under threat have direct monies to pay bills, get groceries, and keep afloat during this time when leaving their homes may be terrorized to do so. 50% of all revenue from this show will go directly to MAI, The Nest covers all other expenses (ticketing, staff, taxes, space fees).
Using info from audience members, each scene will be inspired by an icebreaker question to launch each scene. Fast, funny, playful, and filled with Nest mainstage beloved improvisers – this show aims to give some joyful surroundings for those looking to do something and not knowing exactly how – enjoy a comedy show and do some good while you’re at it!
Ticket: Minimum Price $15, Feel free to donate more if you’re able ($25, $50, etc)
