Songwriter Sessions, the songwriter series presented by Music Go Round and hosted by Jamie Ravine, continues with special guests Bruce Dazell, Bill Hill, and Charlie Jackson. The sponsor, Music Go Round, takes pride in providing their customers with the best value in used musical instruments and gear, and has 2 area locations, 2630 Bethel Rd in Columbus and 1329 Stoneridge Dr in Gahanna.

Jamie Ravine is an eclectic indie artist with a passion for songwriting, co-writing, recording and performing. She has taken an active role as a Columbus music community leader and loves encouraging other writers to be heard and stay inspired. Jamie expresses the raw essence of life, love and deep emotions through her music and the stories she shares.

Bruce Dalzell was raised in Athens County Ohio, and he describes himself as a child of clashing cultures. Where the Appalachian coal fields meet a large state university and its citizens of Cleveland and Cincinnati, one part hillbilly one part crooner, he invests more in songwriting and creating a supportive environment for songwriters than promotion. James Taylor, Bruce Cockburn, Richard Thompson and Gay Dalzell are major music influences.

Bill Hill remembers the first song he ever heard was “I Want to Hold Your Hand” by the Beatles, and reflects “that was it for me, I fell in love with music!” Bill has written songs and poems for a number of years, including songs for The House Band and the trio Jackson-Hill-Brown.

Charlie Jackson is the co-owner and coordinator of live music programming at Natalie’s Grandview and a lifelong lover of music. Besides the House Band, he also performed with the Jackson-Hill-Brown Trio, and enjoys performing with his fellow staff members at Natalie’s annual Battle of the Bands event.

Food & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.
