Summer is in full force, and in our foraging walk this month, we’ll see what’s growing in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus!
Join Forager and Chef, Lorenzo Tavani for a foraging plant walk around the Community Garden Campus. Class will consist of an hour long, guided plant walk, focusing on edible plants growing at the park.
Students can expect to feel more comfortable identifying wild plants, gain a better idea of how to become a better forager, build a deeper relationship to the natural world around us connecting us to the planet, and learn how to incorporate these wild foods into their everyday lives.
We will gather in the Education Pavilion before beginning our walk. Please be prepared for a gentle guided walk around Conservatory grounds and have appropriate footwear.
