Columbus, get ready to experience history like you’ve never seen it before.
The Pizzuti Collection at the Columbus Museum of Art presents Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began — a powerful, immersive exhibition that challenges the stories we’re told and the ones we’re not.
Featuring more than 20 works across sculpture, painting, neon, text, and music, this multi-sensory show explores histories that have been rendered invisible — particularly within the Black diaspora . Strachan invites visitors into layered environments that feel both familiar and surreal, encouraging us to rethink who and what we choose to celebrate.
Curated in collaboration with the Columbus Museum of Art, this exhibition has been described as an opportunity to experience Strachan’s “attention to the craft of object-making and the importance of world building”
If you love thought-provoking contemporary art, immersive installations, and bold cultural storytelling — this is a must-see.
