When the Marquis d’Urfé, a noble emissary of the King of France, is attacked and abandoned in the remote countryside, he finds refuge at an eerie, isolated manor. About the filmmaker:
The French filmmaker, Adrien Beau was born in Paris in 1981. Before becoming a filmmaker, he worked as a designer for John Galliano and Christian Dior, beginning in 2005. Beau started his directorial career as a theater director in 2008 and later directed two short horror films, La Petite Sirène (2011), and Les Condiments Irréguliers (2011). The Vourdalak (2024) is his feature film debut.
