Adam Sherman is an American independent filmmaker known for his minimalist style and psychologically driven storytelling. Working largely outside the studio system, Sherman has written, directed, and produced a series of distinctive microbudget features including Happiness Runs (2010), Crazy Eyes (2012), and The Rocket (2018). His films often explore themes of obsession, isolation, and emotional vulnerability, using intimate performances and stripped-down filmmaking to focus on character and atmosphere.
