Join us for an exclusive showing of “WALLY! The Eastside Kid”, a new GCAC-funded documentary celebrating the life and impact of Columbus jazz legend Wally Mitchel. Known to many as “The East Side Kid,” Wally has spent decades shaping the city’s music scene and inspiring generations of musicians through his performances and mentorship.

This special evening will feature the first public screening of the film, honoring Wally’s extraordinary story, his music, and the community that has grown around him. After the screening, the band will play a set as well! Come celebrate a living legend and experience the spirit of Columbus jazz on the big screen!

All proceeds from the event will go to Wally.
