Before we begin – grab your fancy hats, practice your British accents, and be posh. Posh posh posh. We like saying that.

Ok, pinkies out – friends!

Did we miss one? Did one of these places close? Send us a note!

High Tea in Columbus & Central OH

Cambridge Tea House

1885 W 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43212 / more info

We hope this is appropriate to say, but if we could move into the Cambridge Tea House we would. It’s a little escape from reality into the land of soft pastels and sweet treats. The fine china, the SCONES, the delicate little sandwiches, and of course – the tea makes for the most spectacular little moment. Don’t be cheeky, be cheersy (we know that’s technically not a word but we want it to be.

Sophie’s Tea Room

120 W Main St, Somerset, OH 43783 / more info

For some vibrant loose leaf teas, a lovely sandwich, or a perfectly balanced pastry, you must come to Sophie’s Tea Room. It’s sort of like walking into your grandma’s house (in a good way obviously) and is totally a hidden gem, but too good not to mention. You could order anything there and it’s gonna be good. No more dodgy little breakfasts, brunches, or lunches for you – not when Sophie’s Tea Room is nearby.

Blooming Blessings Tea & Treasure

288 E Church St, Marion, OH 43302 / more info

We don’t use the word, “darling” much, but Blooming Blessings is worthy of the word. This tea house checks all the boxes. There are traditional British desserts, finger sandwiches, mini muffins, and even meringue puffs. To anyone that thinks afternoon tea is overrated – we say, “pish posh!”

Asterisk Supper Club

14 N State St, Westerville, OH 43081 / more info

For a sophisticated tea experience, Asterisk Supper Club is ready to whisk you away into total bliss. This is some qualitea stuff here (sorry, we had to). Don’t be shy, you can order more than one pot of tea here. The desserts are a fan fav, by the way. Prepare to be properly gobsmacked (look that up if you have to).

Mozart’s Cafe

4784 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214 / more info

Between 1 and 3pm on Thursdays and Fridays, Mozart’s Cafe does afternoon tea and we’re all about it. Have a little quiche with several other tea time classics. Quick question, one lump or two?
