If you think you know the M.O. for a pizza shop, Borgata Pizza Cafe is here to ruin your expectations in the best way possible. This Worthington spot is the kind of place where portion sizes do not exist, the pizza tastes like it came straight from New York, and the cannoli are… well… basically wild science experiments covered in chocolate chips.
No matter if you’ve eaten a lot of food around Central Ohio, Borgata is one of those places that stays with you. Mostly because you’re full for two days afterward, but also because everything here is made with so much care that you can taste it in every bite.
The Vibe: Welcoming, Warm, and Totally Borgata
Walk inside and you’re hit with an open layout full of flags, barn doors, random memorabilia, and that warm buzz of a place that’s very alive. There’s a bar to your right, a kitchen straight ahead, and if you snag a seat at the kitchen counter, you can watch your meal get built right in front of your face.
It’s a scratch kitchen, too. And I mean scratch. Ed (the owner and certified chef) and his crew make the pasta, dressings, sauces, sausage, chicken cutlets… everything. When I say nothing is phoned in, I mean it. If they could make their own oxygen, they probably would.
And the service? Top tier. Ed is genuinely one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet, and that attitude runs through the entire staff. Everyone treats you like a regular, even if it’s your first time walking in.

The Pizza: New York Flavor in the Midwest
Central Ohio is a Columbus-style pizza town, but Borgata said nope, we’re doing New York style. And they crush it.
The crust is thin. The slices are big. The toppings actually stay on the pizza instead of sliding off like a cheap sticker. And the flavors… man oh man. The Pesto Chicken pizza is garlicky, bright, and one of my favorite pies in the entire region.
They also roll out a specialty pizza every single month. November had a Loaded Baked Potato Pizza. December brings a Lasagna Pizza. Yes, lasagna… on a pizza. If that doesn’t make you curious, I don’t know what will.

The Wings: Pineapple Habanero Perfection
I know mango habanero wings are everywhere. And honestly… they’re so overrated. Borgata’s pineapple habanero wings fix that problem. They’re meaty, sweet, spicy, and so good they make you wonder why anyone puts mango on wings at all.

The Cannoli: These Are Not Normal
If you know me, you know the cannoli are why I keep coming back.
These things are overstuffed. They’re filled to order. They come in seasonal flavors. And they’re enormous. The pumpkin cannoli is fantastic, but the Buckeye Cannoli? Absolutely ridiculous.
Picture this: peanut butter chocolate chips stuck to a creamy, chocolatey ricotta filling that tastes like a Buckeye candy… except better. Yes, I said it. Buckeye fans, take it up with me in the comments.
They also sell DIY cannoli kits, which is dangerous for someone like me who has the self-control of a hungry raccoon.
Plus, on special occasions, you can get a discounted cannoli if you do an Elvis impersonation.

Fun Extras You Probably Didn’t Know
This place is full of surprises:
- They host a Buckeye Game Day buffet that is all you can eat.
- Half-price wine bottles every Wednesday.
- They give discounts to first responders and the military.
They also work closely with schools, including offering jobs for students in the Dublin Pax Program, and they donate meals to local football teams. It’s the kind of place that feeds the community in more ways than one.
Final Thoughts: Come Hungry. Leave Very Happy.
Borgata Pizza Cafe is one of those rare spots where everything just hits. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the creativity. It’s great for families, date nights, casual hangs, sports-watching, or honestly… just a day when you want to treat yourself.
Get the wings. Get the pizza. But whatever you do, get the cannoli. The overstuffed Buckeye Cannoli changed me a little as a person.
