There are bar crawls, and then there’s the Short North Mini Golf Crawl. This is your chance to drink, putt, and maybe even walk away with a trophy. I’ve always said that more bars need mini golf holes in them, so this bar crawl is perfect!

On Saturday, July 12th, the 2nd Annual Short North Mini Golf Crawl will transform nine of the neighborhood’s best bars into a makeshift putt-putt course. You’ll make your way from bar to bar, testing your short game while taking advantage of drink specials and trying not to hit your ball into the water (i.e. someone’s vodka soda).

🏌️‍♂️ How It Works

Here’s the deal:

  • 9 bars, 9 holes of mini golf
  • $10 gets you a ticket to play the full course
  • Prizes and trophies are up for grabs for top performers
  • Plus: drink specials littered throughout the “course”
  • Oh, and it’s 21+ only, obviously

Basically, it’s the mullet of weekend events. All business in the front (golf), lots of party in the back (drinks).

🗺️ The Bars

The crawl includes some of the Short North’s most popular spots, and each will host its own custom mini golf hole. Your mission is simple: Navigate the course, sip a cocktail (or three), and try not to completely shank your way to the bottom of the leaderboard.

Here’s the full lineup:

  • Bakersfield – Check-in location
  • Goody Boy – Also a check-in location
  • Fours on High
  • Local Bar
  • Oddfellows
  • Pint House
  • Standard Hall
  • The Eagle
  • Union

You can check in at Bakersfield or Goody Boy and immediately start making your way through the course.

Unless you’re like me, in which case you’ll probably grab a beer, a marg, and a vodka lemonade before hitting your first putt.

Whether you’re a seasoned mini golf veteran or someone who just wants an excuse to day drink competitively, this crawl has something for everyone.

🏆 Trophies, Prizes, and (Probably) Bragging Rights

We’re not just talking about a casual “good job” for participating. There are actual trophies and prizes for top performers and participants, and you better believe people get weirdly competitive (It’s me. I’m people).

So if you’ve got a mean putt and a soft spot for Land-Grant House Beer, now’s your time to shine.

🎟️ Tickets Are Going Fast

Tickets are flying off the metaphorical shelf for this bar hop. If you’re even thinking about going, get your ticket now. They won’t be available later.

👉 Grab your ticket here for just $10

Whether you come to win or just to watch your friend hit their ball into a sewer drain and spill a rum and coke all over their shoes, the Short North Mini Golf Crawl is one of the most chaotic and fun ways to spend a summer Saturday in Columbus.
