Columbus sits at the confluence of the Olentangy and Scioto Rivers, so naturally we have some pretty sweet spots for a day out on the water.
If you’ve never taken advantage of the rivers and lakes around Columbus, take this as a sign to change that. One of my favorite memories was going kayaking with my college buddies during the pandemic. It was a perfect way to hang out, bond, and enjoy the nice weather.
I won’t even bring up the fact that my friend Tony thought he was docked on the bank of the river when, in fact, we were in water that was 10+ feet deep and he stepped out of the canoe and got absolutely soaked because that’s embarrassing for him! 😉
