And for the second year in a row, two Central Ohio businesses are putting our region on the national stage thanks to their elite beer scenes.
In the 2026 USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, both The Ohio Taproom and Henmick Farm & Brewery landed among the very best in the country.
Not just in Ohio.
Not just for the Midwest.
The entire country.
The Ohio Taproom Ranked the No. 2 Best Beer Bar in America

The Ohio Taproom once again claimed the No. 2 spot for Best Beer Bar in the country, holding the exact same position it earned last year.
Which is equally impressive as it is slightly annoying.
Because the only place that beat it again is a bar in San Diego.
Like… yeah, okay. We get it. You guys have perfect weather all the time. That doesn’t automatically mean your beer bar should beat ours.
Yet still, finishing second in the entire country is nothing to scoff at. Especially when you consider why they continue to impress.
The Ohio Taproom has built a reputation around something pretty simple but very cool: they only serve products made in Ohio. That means every beer, cider, and beverage on the menu supports breweries across the state.
They’ve also added Spokes Café, which opened in 2025 and gives visitors an excellent coffee option, allowing us to spend even more time in the nationally acclaimed Taproom.
If you love Ohio craft beer, this place is basically your Disneyland.
Henmick Farm & Brewery Ranked the No. 3 Best Beer Garden in America

Just up the road in Delaware, Henmick Farm & Brewery also landed near the top of a national list.
Henmick ranked No. 3 for Best Beer Garden in the country in the 2026 USA TODAY awards.
And if that sounds impressive, it should. Because Henmick was actually ranked No. 1 in the country last year.
The farm brewery has become one of the most beloved spots in Central Ohio thanks to its wide-open setting, relaxed atmosphere, and excellent craft beer. It’s the kind of place where you can spend an entire afternoon outside without even realizing how much time has passed.
Good beer. Rolling countryside. Plenty of space to spread out.
Not a bad combo.
Columbus Keeps Showing Up on the National Beer Scene
Two years in a row now, The Ohio Taproom and Henmick Farm & Brewery have landed among the best beer destinations in the country.
Which means if you needed another excuse to go grab a drink somewhere local… well… here it is.
