If you’re looking to find great food and drink at an unbeatable price, then happy hour is your time to shine.

While there are happy hour specials all over the city, not all happy hours are created equal. Depending on what you’re looking for, a happy hour that everyone loves might not tickle you they way you’d hoped. That’s okay!

Our hope is that one of the spots we’ve highlighted below can become your new go-to spot.

However, given the fact that there are so many places offering happy hour deals, we might have missed an unbeatable happy hour. If that’s the case, please let us know here and we just might add it to our list.

Now, without any further ado, let’s get happy!

1. Forno Kitchen + Bar | Mon – Fri 4-6 PM

721 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215

Forno is the first restaurant that comes to mind when I think of incredible happy hours. You can get nearly the entire menu for half off. HALF OFF! This includes draft beer, house cocktails, wine by the glass, bar snacks, shared items, and pizzas. It’s not insanity. It’s Forno (yes, I just made up that slogan).

2. House Taco | Tue – Fri 3-7 PM, Sat 4-7 PM

79 South 4th Street, Columbus, OH 43215

House Taco is a new resident in their current location, and because they recently got their liquor license, they are going all out on happy hours! Their menu is constantly changing, but luckily you have 4 hours on weeknights and 3 hours on Saturdays to figure out exactly what happy hour items you’ll be ordering. Plus, let’s not let it go unnoticed that they offer a happy hour on Saturdays. That’s legendary stuff right there.

3. Bodega | Mon – Sun 4-8 PM

1044 N. High St, Columbus, OH 43201

They don’t call it the World Famous Happy Hour for nothin’, folks! Monday through Sunday, week after week, you can find half off draft beers, $4 well drinks, $2 off wine by the glass, and daily specials that will knock your socks off. “What kind of specials,” you ask? Get a load of this:

  • Monday: $2 Grilled Cheese Night
  • Taco Tuesday: $3 Gourmet Tacos
  • Wednesday: 1/2 Off Wings
  • Friday: $12 Fish & Chips
  • Sat – Sun: Weekend Brunch 10 AM – 3 PM
  • Sunday: $10 OG Chicken Sandwich & Fries 4 PM – Close

4. Lindey’s | Mon – Fri 4-6PM

169 E Beck St, Columbus, OH 43206

Yes, the happy hour is a bit shorter than the others on this list, but when you hear about what you can get for happy hour, you’ll be blown away at how they’re able to get away with this. Listen up. You get half off their bar menu, including their starters, signature cocktails, wines by the glass, bottled beer, and draft beers. The only caveat is that you have to be sitting at the bar or cocktail tables. But still… come on! That’s an incredible happy hour.

5. Woodlands Tavern | Mon – Sat 3-6 PM

1200 W 3rd Ave, Columbus, OH 43212

Woodlands Tavern is a bit of a hidden gem in my eyes with tons of good vibes, let alone the food and drink specials they run. Their specials change on a weekly basis, but you can expect their happy hour to be bangin’! Here’s some examples of what to expect from their happy hours:

  • Mon – Sat: $2.50 Domestics, $2.50 Well Spirits, $3.50 Drafts
  • Taco Tuesday: $3.25 – $4 Tacos
  • Wednesday: Half Off Wine By The Glass, $3.25 Select Whiskeys
  • Thursday: $1 Drafts
  • Friday: $8 Draft Beer + A Shot
  • Saturday: $20 Domestic and Seltzer Buckets, $25 Craft Buckets
  • Sunday: $6 Double Wells
