If you’ve been anywhere near a radio, TikTok, or Spotify in the last year, you already know the name Benson Boone. And if you don’t… HOW?! Either way, let’s just say you’re about to. The global pop phenom is officially bringing his American Heart World Tour to Columbus, Ohio, and flips are likely to be involved.

If you’ve got a soft spot for emotional piano ballads, explosive vocals, or front flips off of arena stages… this one’s for you.

Wait, He’s the Flip Guy?

Yes. He’s the flip guy. But also? He’s a lot more.

If you’re unfamiliar, at the 2025 Grammys, he wore a skin-tight blue outfit and basically did a full-on gymnastics routine during his performance… WHILE SINGING. It was as impressive as it was viral.

But flashy flips aside, Benson Boone has quietly (and then very loudly) arisen as one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. He’s played Coachella, toured across Europe, and currently ranks as the 37th most-streamed artist on Spotify with nearly 56 million monthly listeners. That’s not a typo.

Benson Boone’s Show in Columbus, Ohio

Judging by those Spotify numbers, you can probably guess that his upcoming show in Columbus is the talk of the town. That being said, here’s the high-level stuff you need to know if you’re interested in going to the show:

If you’re hoping to grab a floor seat or VIP package, prices can hit $300 and up. General admission’s still floating in the $100 to $200 range depending on the section.

What Makes Benson Boone Famous?

Benson first showed up on American Idol back in 2021, but the real rocket fuel came from TikTok and a string of emotionally raw, wildly catchy singles like “Ghost Town” and “In The Stars“. His 2024 debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades gave us “Beautiful Things”, a song that hit like a freight train full of feelings thanks to quite the dynamic vocal range, and ended up with billions of streams.

Since then, he’s dropped anthem after anthem, played major festivals (Coachella included), and proven he’s not just a viral moment. He’s the real deal and here to stay.

How Long Is the Show?

His recent shows across Europe have clocked in around 75 to 90 minutes. He typically takes the stage around 9 PM after an opener and runs through a set that blends piano ballads, pop hits, and a few surprises.

SPOILER ALERT: IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT SONGS HE’S PLAYING, DO NOT READ ON!!

Some of the recent staples include:

  • Beautiful Things
  • In the Stars
  • Ghost Town
  • Slow It Down
  • Cry
  • Hello Love
  • What Was
  • Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else

That said, don’t be surprised if he throws in a deep cut or debuts something new from American Heart.

Will He Flip?

Ahhh yes. The big question.

Short answer: probably! Long answer: I’m setting the betting line at -850 that he does at least one flip before the night is over. He’s done it at Coachella, the Grammys, and plenty of recent tour stops. And given the energy he brings to a full arena… yeah, I’d count on it.

Why This Show Matters

The Columbus stop comes on the heels of the release of American Heart, his sophomore album that dropped on June 20th. That timing means we’ll likely hear a mix of older hits and newer singles, while still having time to memorize all of the lyrics. That’s the kind of sweet spot you want as a fan.

Plus, Nationwide Arena gives it just the right energy. Big enough to feel like a moment. Intimate enough to still feel personal. It’s a great venue for an artist like Benson, who’s known for connecting with the crowd (between mid-air stunts, of course).

Final Thoughts

If you’re on the fence about going, consider this your nudge. Whether you’ve had Beautiful Things on repeat or just want to see what all the hype is about, Benson Boone in Columbus is going to be one of those concerts you remember. The songs hit hard. The crowd will be loud. And yes, someone’s probably going to cry during Beautiful Things. Maybe it’ll be you.

So grab your ticket, wear something you can jump around in, and prepare for a night that’s part pop show and part acrobatics showcase.
