We are excited to offer kayaking and paddle boats rentals once again at the Creekside Marina this season. Below are some Frequently Asked Questions:
- We will open for the season with limited hours. Additional dates and hour will be added as staffing allows.
- Reservations will be available in 30-minute blocks for $10 per boat.
- Rentals are by Reservation ONLY. Reservations MUST be made online at PaddleGahanna.com.
- You will have an opportunity to pick the time slot of your choosing, based on availability. Please arrive promptly before the start of your reserved time.
- Walk-up reservations are available based on availability. Walk-up reservations will still need to be made online at PaddleGahanna.com. No cash transactions will be permitted.
- Rentals must have an adult present (18+).
- Upon arrival to the Creekside Marina, a team member will verify your reservation and assist you in your paddle adventure.
- Reservations are non-refundable. If weather or water conditions are unsafe, reservations will be either refunded or credited towards another day.
- We offer tandem, sit-on-top-style kayaks and pontoon-style paddle boats
- Kayaks can hold up to three riders (third rider must be a child). All kayaks have a weight capacity of 550lbs.
- Paddle boats can hold up to 5 people, and have a weight capacity is 830 lbs.
- There is no age limitation on riders, though all riders 12 and younger must have an adult ride on the boat with them.
- NO food or alcohol will be permitted on the boats. Other drinks are acceptable.
- Participants are required to wear an appropriate personal floatation device (PFD) at all times while in a boat. We provide PFDs sized Adult Medium through Adult XXL, as well as PFDs for children between 30 and 90 pounds. If a child under 30 pounds will be riding in a boat, a PFD must be brought for them.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own PFD.
