Stuart’s Opera House Summer Arts Camp invites kids ages 9-16 to think creatively about the world around them and express themselves through the arts.
Our 2024 Summer Camp has a flat fee of $150 per student for the week, and $300 for both weeks. There are scholarship options available for families in need of financial assistance.

2024 Arts Camp Sessions:
WEEK 1: Theater, Tech, and Movement June 17-June 21
WEEK 1: Theater, Tech, and Movement June 17-June 21
The Theater & Movement portion of Summer Arts Camp will explore the world of live theater! Young Artists will work on producing small skits/scenes, create costumes and props, learn technical skills around lighting/set construction/sound, and more!
Daily workshops in Musical Theater, Dance/Movement, Playwriting, and Technical (backstage) Theater.
The Theater & Movement week will culminate with a performance on the historic Stuart’s Opera House stage on the afternoon of Friday, June 21st, showcasing the creativity that the students have developed throughout the week.
WEEK 2: Music June 24-June 28
The Music portion of Summer Arts Camp will closely follow the curriculum for our Afterschool Music Program (AMP). Led by local professional musicians and AMP Program Manager, Adam Remnant, young artists will form bands, learn an instrument (or continue learning), create original songs, and learn all about what it takes to be a rockstar!
Daily workshops in Music Theory, Performance Etiquette, Musicianship, Stage Plotting, and more!
The Music week will culminate with a performance on the historic Stuart’s Opera House stage on the afternoon of Friday June 28th, showcasing each band and their original song they created!
