Crafts Uncorked is a regular gathering to explore a new craft style in a relaxed, informal instruction setting- you do not need to be crafty to enjoy! Each month, we will learn the basics of a different craft and enjoy a glass of wine. It’s the perfect way to ‘un-cork’ your creativity, work at your own pace, and be inspired.
In the month of March, we will explore the art of needle felting! Needle felting is the process of creating a felt art with nothing more than a needle, and some wool roving. Various templates will be available to assist you in the making of a woodland creature of your choice as you work at your own pace, exploring this art form- make a squirrel, a bluebird a fox and more!
All supplies will be provided, as well as staff instruction. If you have any questions about the material you are planning to bring, please reach out and email Nicole Tabit (ntabit@fpconservatory.org) Join us for a hands-on, creative experience!
Difficulty: Beginner. Having thimbles or finger protection is not necessary to felt, but sometimes finger pricking happens. Please feel free to bring thimbles or fingertip guards!
