Join Ms. Jessie as we create our own play inspired by different fairy tales. Using a fairy tale compilation book, we’ll choose three stories, read them and combine them to craft a new tale! We’ll write a script, cast it, stage it, design and develop this new play over the course of our classes. Your child will write, act, design and play through this experience as they learn to collaborate creatively and watch their ideas come to life! On the final day of class, we will perform our play for friends and family. Day One: Choose and read stories, pick characters and story elements (In between, Ms. Jessie writes the dialogue based upon the group conversations and decisions.)Day Two: Write ending together, assign characters, stage/block show(Ms. Jessie emails out finalized script) Day Three: Rehearse, design day, make masksDay Four: Rehearse, make scenery Day Five: Rehearse, Show Time!
