Join teaching artist Risa Beth Cohen for an engaging, hands-on workshop that brings stories to life through music, movement, and imagination.

Together, we’ll discover that stories help us make sense of the world and that everyone is a storyteller! Through music and movement, we’ll explore the essential building blocks of a story from beginning to end and see how these elements appear in songs and comics!

What to Expect:

Sing along with original and familiar songs accompanied by guitar.
Get moving with creative drama and storytelling exercises.
Close looking at comics from the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum collection.
Act out scene from comics, play with rhythm, and unleash your imagination!
