Welcome to Balloon Pop Comedy Gauntlet, where comics hit the stage to make you laugh and earn your pop. It’s part stand-up showcase, part game show, part controlled explosion—and only at The Attic Comedy Club, Columbus’ home for wild, underground comedy.
HOW IT WORKS:
• Comics hit the mic and try to win over the judges.
• Judges = a mix of professional comics and ballsy audience volunteers, each holdin’ a balloon.
• When a judge loves a joke? POP. That’s 5 points for the comic.
• No pops? That’s 5 minutes of existential crisis.
• After each set, the judges explain why they popped, and the comic riffs live. Crowd work meets comedy therapy. It’s electric.
• Comic with the most points at the end of the night wins $100 cold, hard cash.
