The Soul Series, hosted by Debra James Tucker, continues with Stephen Stringz, a revolutionary R&B violinist whose electrifying performances blur the boundaries between classical sophistication and contemporary soul. Known for his genre-bending sound, Stringz fuses classical violin technique with the richness of R&B, the edge of hip-hop, and the groove of jazz — creating a sound that feels both timeless and unmistakably modern.

A visionary performer and composer, Stephen has built a reputation for curating immersive live music experiences that move audiences emotionally and spiritually. Whether performing intimate melodies or soaring improvisations, his violin becomes a powerful voice that tells stories of rhythm, culture, and connection.

Stephen Stringz currently serves as an artist-in-residence in Tampa, FL; Silver Spring, MD; Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, OH, bringing his signature sound to vibrant music communities across the country. His performances span intimate jazz clubs, cultural venues, and major stages where audiences experience a fresh reimagining of R&B, hip-hop, and soul through the expressive voice of the violin.

At Natalie’s, audiences can expect an unforgettable evening of soulful melodies, fresh reinterpretations of R&B and hip-hop classics, and the magnetic energy of a violinist redefining what the instrument can be in modern music.

This isn’t just a concert — it’s a musical experience.

This series is coordinated by Debra James Tucker, a product of extensive training in jazz, classical and gospel music. Her latest album is “Voices”, which continues her exploration of early black church forms in contemporary contexts. She is the writer/performer of the one woman show Survival of the Boulevard Singer-winner of an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence, has been a visiting instructor at Denison University in the history of African American Gospel Music, and an artist in residence with several youth arts organizations.

Food & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show–our kitchen will be closing at 9pm for this event.
