Some of my favorite memories as a kid involved going to Red Wagon Farms up in Northeast Ohio to pick strawberries.
I swear, no candy can compare to the sweetness of fresh-picked fruit. And as a Columbus resident for nearly 7 years now, it’s great to see that U-Pick farms and events are just as popular down here as they were when I was a kid in Cleveland!
So, if you’ve been craving the freshest fruits grown by the most hardworking farmers around, you’ve come to the right place. These farms let you pick your own fruits directly off the plants, an activity perfect for families, dates, or just a relaxing day by yourself!
Be sure to check with each individual business (either by phone or checking their social media accounts and websites) to see if they are currently offering U-Pick events.
Did we miss one? Did one of these places close? Send us a note!
