Corn mazes are supposed to be confusing… but some Central Ohio farms said “nah, let’s make this an art gallery made out of corn.” Every fall, farmers around here cut out designs so big and detailed you can literally walk through a giant portrait of Ryan Day, Marty McFly, or even Elmo.
So, whether you’re in it for the challenge, the photo ops, or just to brag that you wandered through Doc Brown’s face, here are the 5 craziest corn maze designs in Central Ohio this year.
5. Pigeon Roost Farm (The Spookiest Maze)
📍 4413 National Rd SW, Hebron, OH 43025
If fall is your Halloween season, Pigeon Roost is your place. This year’s maze has bats, a haunted house, a giant pumpkin, and even a spooky moon woven into the design.
Combine that with their paintball, pumpkin picking, and haunted vibes, and you’ve got a farm that doesn’t just “do fall”… it dominates it. Enter if you dare.

4. Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm
📍 2920 OH-203, Radnor, OH 43066
Lehner’s isn’t just another farm — it’s been crowned the #1 Pumpkin Patch in the Country by USA Today. On top of pumpkins, hayrides, and fall vibes, they’ve also got one of the most fun corn mazes in the state.
But here’s the best part: the corn maze is designed every year by the owner, Shelly, who carves out the designs herself. That’s insane dedication. This year’s has a giant smiley face and geometric patterns, which is basically like walking through a math problem while also trying not to get lost.

3. Van Buren Acres (Sesame Street Maze)
📍 5066 Keller Rd, Hebron, OH 43025
Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Big Bird… all in corn form. Van Buren Acres has some kind of surgeon-level precision when it comes to corn mazes. Every year their designs are so clean it looks like they Photoshopped the field.
If you’ve got little kids (or just big time nostalgia), this maze is basically Sesame Street but with more mud and less TV. My niece would absolutely lose her mind walking through Elmo’s face.

2. Wheeler Farms (Back to the Future Maze)
📍 11455 Obee Road, Whitehouse, OH 43571
Last year Wheeler Farms went Taylor Swift (because of course they did). This year? They went full DeLorean.
To celebrate 40 years of Back to the Future, they carved Marty McFly, Doc Brown, and an actual DeLorean into the corn. And it’s not just blocky outlines either… they somehow did shading. In corn. I don’t know if it’s witchcraft, alien tech, or just a really good tractor, but it looks incredible.
If you’ve ever wanted to wander through 1985 Hill Valley, but with corn stalks instead of streets, this is your chance.

1. The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek (Ryan Day Maze)
📍 8657 Axe Handle Rd, Milford Center, OH 43045
Look, some coaches get a statue. Some get their name on a field. Ryan Day? He just got his legacy carved into eight acres of corn. And honestly, that feels right.
When I first saw this maze, I legitimately thought, “this basically cements Ryan Day into Buckeye history forever.” Not the National Championship… But being carved into corn.
To Ohio State football, this is Mount Rushmore-level stuff. If he wasn’t already, Ryan Day is now amongst the ranks of Woody, Tressel, and Urban. The man already had an 87.5% career win rate, but now he’s got a corn tribute too.
Oh, and the farm itself is just as fun as the maze — pumpkin blasters, corn cannons, and everything your inner 10-year-old (and actual 10-year-old) could ever want.

Final Thoughts (Before I Get Lost in Corn Forever)
Central Ohio farms don’t just grow the best sweet corn around, they’re turning it into art you can get lost in. Whether you want to walk through Ryan Day’s legacy, time travel with Marty McFly, or meet Elmo in maize form, there’s a maze here that’ll blow your mind.
So grab your boots, grab your friends, and prepare to get a little lost.
