If you’re looking for the best pumpkin patch in America this fall… SURPRISE! You don’t have to leave Ohio.
Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm in Radnor (just north of Delaware) was officially crowned the #1 Pumpkin Patch in the entire U.S. by USA Today’s 10 Best list for 2025. Now, the reigning champ is back in the run for 2026, and we’re rooting for a repeat.
Yup. Out of all the pumpkin patches in the country, from New England to the Pacific Northwest, all eyes are on our humble Ohio farm. Take that, Vermont!
Why Lehner’s Took the Crown
According to USA Today, Lehner’s 15-plus acres of pick-your-own pumpkins are only part of what makes it so great. The farm also offers hayrides, a corn maze, a real henhouse, and a historic Pumpkinville play village.
But honestly, that’s just scratching the surface.
Lehner’s is basically a fall-themed amusement park that happens to have pumpkins.
They’ve got two giant jump pillows (like trampolines but filled with air), roller racers that let you zip around like a human hamster, and even a massive slingshot so you can fling balls across a field like some kind of autumn superhero.
And we’re not done yet. There are sack races, Grain Bin Basketball (basically farm-style Pop-A-Shot), hayrides, paintball, a snow-tube slide (without the snow), and a zipline.
Basically, if you can dream it, Lehner’s probably found a way to make it more fun and somehow involve a pumpkin.
The Perfect Fall Day
There’s something special about this place. Between the colorful fall leaves, the smell of apple cider, and the sound of kids laughing (or screaming with joy as they zoom down slides), Lehner’s captures that perfect, cozy fall feeling.
It’s the kind of farm that makes you wish you were a kid again. (Although, to be fair, adults are totally allowed to act like kids here… I asked for a friend.)
When To Visit
Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm is open for all the autumn action from September 19 all the way through October 31, with tons of special events and photo ops scattered throughout the season.
