Looking for a way to get outside without sacrificing date night with your boo? You’ve come to the right place.

Here at Step Out Columbus, we liken ourselves to matchmakers and romantics like Cupid and, uhhh, eHarmony (maybe?).

What we’re trying to say is that we know how to cook up some great date nights to match each season in Central Ohio. As things get hot and heavy outside, so will our date nights (so you better buckle up).

This month, we have something tame and fun to keep you on your toes and deepen your relationship with your partner, because we love love!

Stop 1: Dinner at Cento

595 S 3rd St, Columbus, OH 43215

If you want to take your love live to level 💯, there’s no better place for it than Cento. Why? Other than having great food and an incredibly romantic and aesthetic vibe (I mean, you enter the restaurant through an outdoor canopy of greenery and flowers for Pete’s sake), Cento means 100 in Italian. Yes, it’s cheesy, but so is their incredible Burrata Antipasto. I love this place so much, there’s a good chance you see me there during your date night. That way, you can thank me for the awesome recommendation!

Stop 2: Columbus Clippers Game

330 Huntington Park Ln, Columbus, OH 43215

This one will take a bit of planning, as the Clippers don’t have a game every night. But, we think it’s well worth it to make a Clippers game part of your date night. It’s fun, super chill, low stakes, and as the sun begins to set and the sky turns a beautiful purpley red, it’s romantic! You might even leave the ballpark with a souvenir (or, if you don’t catch it, a bruise or two).

Stop 3: Jeni’s Ice Cream

714 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215

As we always say, a good date night always ends with ice cream. And when you walk into Jeni’s and smell the freshly cooked waffle cones, you’re going to quickly realize why it’s the ultimate cap to a great date night. Even if you ate too much Italian food at Cento and peanuts at the Clippers game, your mouth is going to be watering as soon as you walk in those doors.
