If you’re the kind of person who gets emotionally attached to a good Columbus-style pizza (hi, it’s me), you might want to sit down for this.

JT’s Pizza & Pub is officially opening a third location in Plain City, landing inside the rapidly growing Jerome Village area. And honestly… this feels like exactly the kind of neighborhood JT’s was made for.

A Quick JT’s Refresher (Because Context Matters)

JT’s Pizza & Pub first opened back in 2007 in Linworth, quietly becoming one of the places locals swear by and outsiders don’t fully understand until they take that first bite. Then, in 2024, they expanded with a second location in Grandview Heights, which somehow kept the soul of JT’s intact while adding a much more modern, sports-bar-forward vibe.

Now, location number three is headed northwest to Jerome Village in Plain City, marking another big step for a Columbus-born pizza spot that’s grown the right way… slowly, intentionally, and without losing what made people fall in love with it in the first place.

Why JT’s Pizza Is So Damn Good

Let’s get one thing straight. JT’s pizza is elite because it’s customizable in a way that borders on dangerous.

Yes, the thin, crispy Columbus-style crust is fantastic on its own. But where JT’s really separates itself is what you can do to that crust.

We’re talking:

  • Garlic parmesan
  • Garlic butter
  • Cajun
  • Sesame seed
  • And honestly, enough flavor combinations to make ordering stressful in the best possible way

Add in specialty drizzles, a deep topping list, and consistently excellent service, and suddenly you’ve built a pizza that feels personal. Like… this pizza understands me.

And that’s before we even get into the bar food like their wing selection, which quietly punches way above its weight.

Why We’re Excited: Every JT’s Location Has Its Own Personality

One of the coolest things about JT’s expansion so far is that they don’t just copy and paste locations.

  • Linworth is cozy, divey, and full of old-school charm. It feels like it’s been there forever.
  • Grandview Heights went the opposite direction, in the best way. It’s modern, spacious, and absolutely loaded with TVs. There’s bar seating, table seating, and pretty much no bad seat in the house if you’re there to watch a game.

If those first two locations are any indication, the Plain City JT’s will likely find its own lane, especially given its placement in a fast-growing community hub.

Why Jerome Village Is a Sneaky Perfect Fit

The new JT’s is opening in a retail development at U.S. Route 42 and Ravenhill Parkway, an area that’s quickly turning into a full-on neighborhood destination. Anchored by a Kroger, the development is set to include a mix of just about every type of business.

In other words, people are going to be there anyway. And now they’ll also have access to some of the best pizza in Central Ohio.

No official opening date has been announced yet, but knowing it’s coming is more than enough to get excited.

My Closing Argument (AKA Me Being Biased But Correct)

JT’s Pizza expanding to Plain City just makes sense.

It’s a Columbus-style pizza staple that’s grown carefully, treats its locations like individuals, and still puts an insane amount of thought into the actual food. If you already love JT’s, this is great news. If you live northwest of Columbus and haven’t had it yet… your life is about to improve in a very specific, very cheesy way.

I’ll be counting down the days. 🍕
