Our passion for pizza evolved from a simple pizza night at home. Becoming tired of ordinary pizza started us on a quest. We needed to find that special pizza and make pizza night THE night we all looked forward to. This led to building a wood fired oven in our backyard. After several years of experimenting with dough recipes, sauces, and cheeses, the best of Italian and American style pizza was realized and brought together as one special pizza. We use baking techniques from over 2,000 years ago and modern day materials to create a truly artisan pizza. Delicious flavors and tantalizing aromas are created in a matter of minutes in an 800 degree wood fired oven. Pompeii’s Inferno was created to bring our passion of pizza to you with our mobile Pompeii style wood fired oven. To ensure the freshest possible flavors, we use locally grown seasonal produce. We specialize in catering private parties and corporate events as well as vending at farmers markets and assisting in charity and fund raising events.
