I wouldn’t look up that quote, it’s not super well-known yet. It’s definitely a real quote that we did not fabricate for the sake of this post at all.

Legend Hills Orchards has been picking apples the same stretch of Licking Country since 1904, and honesty, it’s still standing after a September 2025 fire took out its cider mill, salesroom, and coolers is a testament to that. Thanks to a rebuild fueled by the local community, they reopened this year, bigger and better, and are ready for another apple season. Stop by for the fresh apples, but don’t skip the Amish cheese and trail bologna while you’re there.
